Planning your trip

In this section, you’ll find all you need to know to book your flights, plan your arrival in Jingdezhen and visualise the city’s most important landmarks.

General Recommendations:

All train tickets can be booked via www.trip.com.

Download the following apps to make travelling across China easier:

    • For intra-city trips or to visualise possible itineraries, the “Rome2Rio” app is useful.
    • Apple Maps works reliably in China; an alternative is “Baidu Maps”, which is only available in Chinese.
    • The “Didi” app can be used to book taxis or ride-hailing services.

At all airports, passengers can queue for a taxi in the designated taxi queue outside the airport exit doors and show the driver the printed name of the destination in English and Chinese. “Black taxis,” which are unregistered private hire cars, should not be used.

Airports, train stations, and journey times below are provided for indication only; they should always be checked before booking.
