This vast territory, of deserts, jungles, mountain ranges, and coastlines, not only defines landscapes, but also the people and their ways of inhabiting, perceiving, and creating.<\/p>\r\n
The works emerge from an intimate relationship with their environment. Clays, pigments, and minerals, specific to each territory, shape both the technical processes and formal decisions. Thus, surfaces, colors, forms, and structures evoke the geographical configuration, biodiversity, and the power of the landscape, where nature acts as an active agent.<\/p>\r\n
Added to this is a rich cultural heritage: pre-Hispanic traditions engage in dialogue with colonial and contemporary influences, giving rise to hybrid languages and characters.
